Ultima arrivata nella famiglia dell'Atelier Pietro Longhi è la cappelleria.
Acquisita una macchina "informatrice" storica, nel cuore di Venezia si è riportato un mestiere dal sapore antico: il cappellaio. Grazie al vapore e agli stampi in legno prendono forma tricorni, bicorni, cilindri, bombette in feltro o in paglia che poi vengono finiti e rifiniti da Anna. Non è raro trovarla nello show room, con fiori, piume e passamanerie, intenta a creare cappelli sempre unici, di qualunque epoca, che sempre più spesso vengono indossati quotidianamente, per la strada.
Questo era uno degli scopi dell'Atelier: riuscire a creare dei capi, degli accessori, che facessero sentire chi li indossa a proprio agio.

The Hat Factory is the latest newcomer in the family of Atelier Pietro Longhi.
After acquiring a historic hat-making machine, an ancient-flavored job has been re-established in the heart of Venice: hat making. Thanks to steam and wooden molds, tricornes, bicornes, top hats, bowlers in felt or straw take shape and are then finished by Anna. It is not uncommon to find her in the showroom, with flowers, feathers and trimmings, creating hats always unique, whatever their age, which increasingly are worn daily on the streets. This was one of the purposes of the Atelier: to create garments, accessories, which make those who wears them to feel at ease. In the Militaria section you can find a small sample of our production of military hats, which complete uniforms made following original models and clothes.
